Hello! I am currently an MLIS student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to starting school, I worked as a speech therapist, and prior to that, I was an IT consultant and IT recruiter. I am very interested in working in an academic library, specifically in reference and instruction. I would like to implement critical librarianship to any work I do within the field. I would love to potentially apply this to health sciences librarianship as well. I'm presenting a poster at NDLC about Dalits, an oppressed population within South Asia on Thursday from 1:45pm-3pm.
